Accommodation
Accommodation is usually the largest share. Prices rise from standard to superior to luxury, and are higher in spring, autumn and at year-end.
Private transport
Vehicle costs are per vehicle, so the per-person share falls as groups grow; for two travellers it is a larger share.
Guides
City guides by the half or full day are priced differently from a tour escort. Japanese-speaking guides are scarce and may cost more than English-speaking guides.
Meals, experiences and extras
